Puerto Interior and OGPI promote Festival of the Day of the Dead in Communities in Silao.
Civilians are invited to live together as a community and preserve our traditions and customs in the new generations.
In a collaboration the Government of the State of Guanajuato through Guanajuato Puerto Interior and Organisms of Guanajuato Puerto Interior (OGPI), the Festival of the Day of the Dead of Puerto Interior was held at the Social Responsibility Center of this industrial and business complex.
More than 650 people attended to enjoy this great tradition that is traditional with Mexicans.
Residents of 11 communities surrounding GPI participated in this event:
- La Esperanza, Refugio de los Sauces, Mezquite de Sotelo, Jacintos, Napoles, San Francisco, Santa Fe, Comanjilla, Providencia de Napoles, Tunamanza and Nuevo Paraiso
It was a total of 24 teams of 15 participants each, they presented decorative rugs and the Catrinas and Catrines catwalk were held with the participation of 19 girls and boys and 28 people in the adult category.
