This fair celebrates the cultural and historical treasure and unity that we have in Guanajuato: Governor

“This fair is a milestone in our State, it is a fair for the family, we put all our love and affection into it, because it is also a showcase to get to know Guanajuato”, said the Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo.
The Governor presented to the national press the 2025 Leon State Fair, where Coahuila will be the guest state with its folklore and cultural wealth.
The Leon Fair is the best family fair in Mexico; it is held celebrating the founding of the City and is part of the identity of Leon, as well as being considered ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage of the State of Guanajuato’.
“This effort by the Leon Fair to constantly reinvent itself is very important; each edition we find something different, each edition we find an improvement, each edition we see how the shows that arrive satisfy the most demanding public and, truly, for us, it is essential to tell everyone that it is a family fair. It is for everyone,” said the Governor of Guanajuato.
Libia emphasized that the Board of Trustees of the Fair will present the project ‘Inspira’, which will promote creativity and leadership of talents, with conferences and panels, where figures that have achieved their goals will share their life stories.
“It is a project that goes hand in hand with the work we are doing as a society to rebuild the social fabric, to reach out to our youth and we seek to inspire with wonderful life stories,” said the Governor.
The 2025 edition will offer fun, magic and excitement with new attractions for attendees to enjoy the People’s Fair, with live music from local, national and international artists.
At the Mazda Forum there will be music for all tastes, from the pop of Puerto Rican Chayanne, the heavy metal of British band Def Leppard, to the electronic dance of Sam Smith. Camila Cabello, Moenia, Meduza, a group of Italian house music DJs, and Wisin will also perform.

There is fun for kids and adults alike with the mechanical rides; the ice show, Illusion On Ice; the Roberts Circus; various shows at the Ecological Park of the Fair and at the Lake Forum, not to mention the Palenque and the Livestock Expo, among many other things.
Mayor of Leon, Alejandra Gutierrez Campos, said that for this edition of the Fair, an income of 3.5 billion pesos and 6.4 million visitors is forecast; while for the city of Leon, an economic income of 13 billion pesos is expected during the days of the Fair.
