The Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, met with Omar Garcia Harfuch, head of the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection of the Federal Government, to establish the coordinated deployment with State and Federal operational presence in Guanajuato.
This strategy is based on intelligence and investigation to give results to the people.
“As part of the coordinated strategy of the Federal Government and the Government of Guanajuato, in this meeting we analyzed the situation of the State and the 100-day strategy of President Claudia Sheinbaum. The goal is to generate a coordinated presence in Guanajuato, where we will work through intelligence to achieve a decrease in the incidence of crime in the State”, explained Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo.
This roundtable provided strategic and intelligence information that will allow work to be carried out throughout the State, with special attention to the municipalities of Leon, Celaya and Salamanca.
In parallel with this meeting held in Mexico City, the Secretary of Security and Peace of Guanajuato is already working in a coordinated manner with the 46 municipalities of the State.
From the first minute of this New Beginning for Guanajuato, the Government of the People has worked intensively to restore peace to Guanajuatenses.
Juan Mauro Gonzalez Martinez, head of the Secretary of Security and Peace of Guanajuato, participated in this meeting; and the team of the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection of the Federal Government, the National Intelligence Center and the Executive Secretary of the National Public Security System.
