The three levels of government coordinate, a state of force of more than 21,000 elements that will be deployed from December 8, 2022 to January 9, 2023 in the Operation Guadalupe-Reyes

Under close coordination of the three levels of government, from December 8, 2022 and until January 9, 2023, the Guadalupe-Reyes Operation will be implemented in Guanajuato, its purpose is to strengthen security conditions and safeguard the integrity of the population.
The Secretary of Public Security of the State –SSPE-, through the General Commissariat of the Public Security Forces and the State Coordination of Civil Protection, designed a Systemic Operations Plan with the participation of all public security corporations and care institutions of emergencies, with the participation of a force made up of 21 thousand 985 elements.
In addition, in the deployment of operational personnel, there will be the support of 3,318 vehicles including patrols, first response units, motorcycles, tow-trucks, ambulances, motorized pumps, ladder trucks, tankers, and rescue units. In addition, there will be the support of helicopters equipped with technology for video surveillance, in order to complement ground-air operations.
SSPE, through the different Divisions of the General Commissariat of the State Public Security Forces, support and surveillance work will be carried out throughout the State territory, mainly on highways, urban areas, shopping centers and tourist sites.
The Government of Guanajuato through the Secretary of Public Security of the State endorses its commitment to society, in the construction of peace and tranquility, strengthening the coordination work of the institutions of the different levels of government.
