168 members of the FSPE, Sedena and the National Guard participated with mixed security cells in a joint operation to reinforce security in Yuriria and Salvatierra

To strengthen security in the municipalities of the south of Guanajuato, mixed cells made up of 168 elements of the State Public Security Forces -FSPE-, the Secretary of National Defense -Sedena- and the National Guard were deployed.
The operation, which began in Yuriria and was later extended to Salvatierra, involved 34 mobile units that allowed for expanded coverage in the areas intervened.
The operation included patrols, inspections and surveillance in various areas of Yuriria and Salvatierra, with an emphasis on prevention and building ties with citizens. These activities, in addition to seeking to prevent crimes, also strengthen the closeness and trust between authorities and communities.
The Secretary of Security and Peace, with federal forces, continues to work to protect Guanajuatense families under the principles of proximity, intelligence and coordination.
With this approach, progress is being made towards calmer and more protected environments for the benefit of all Guanajuatenses.
