The Secretary of Migrant and International Affairs issued a press release in which it announces those interested that it does not charge citizens for the services it provides or the programs it manages.
PUBLICIDAD
In the case of the “Mineros de Plata” program where the main purpose is family reunification, the SMEI supports the processing and management of the VISA at the United States embassy.
The secretary provides older adults with support during interviews with the staff of the Embassy, absorbs the cost of the truck in which they are transported and travels with them to ensure a safe flight to meet their relatives.
The program has operating rules and is launched through completely public calls where the bases and requirements are set out. They can register through municipalities, clubs or independently.
There are individuals who work on the program on their own and charge for the service, since the embassy does not consider it a crime.
These individuals are totally unrelated to the Secretary of Migrant and International Affairs. There is no relationship with their operation, nor with any charges.
The Secretary invited the Guanajuato migrant community living abroad, their families in our State and the general public to come and learn the details of this and all of the programs.
