Representatives of workers and employers of JULCAS and TCA take oath

The goal of this swearing-in ceremony is to consolidate a more efficient and accessible model of labour justice in Guanajuato

The Local Boards of Conciliation and Arbitration and the Court of Conciliation and Arbitration seek to improve the quality of life of workers and employers, in line with a closer and more efficient Government

The Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, swore in representatives of workers and employers of the Local Boards of Conciliation and Arbitration (JULCAS), for the period 2025-2030; and of the Conciliation and Arbitration Court of the State of Guanajuato (TCA), for the period 2025-2031.

“Always keep in mind that you cannot fail those who go to the Labor Courts in search of a resolution, because for that person, their assets, their family’s livelihood or their personal development are at stake. That is the level and importance that you are assuming today with all your commitment,” said Governor Libia Dennise to those who took the oath of office.

The Governor urged the representatives of the JULCAS and the TCA to “never forget who we are here for”, as outlined in the People’s Decalogue.

“I would like to express my gratitude for your will, your willingness, and the experience that each of you bring to the table and put them at the service of others today. You are guarantors of justice and this duty implies not only a commitment to the law, but also to our people, since your decisions have an impact on people’s lives,” said the Governor.

In the ceremony 52 employers’ and workers’ representatives, 2 representatives of state employees, 2 representatives of municipal employees, 1 representative of city councils and 1 representative of the state took the oath of office.

This inauguration marks a key step towards consolidating a more efficient and accessible model of labor justice in Guanajuato, guaranteeing fair and equitable processes in the resolution of labor conflicts.

The Local Conciliation and Arbitration Boards in Guanajuato (Celaya, Irapuato, Guanajuato City and Leon) resolve labor disputes that arose before the implementation of the new labor justice system on November 3, 2021.

While the Court of Conciliation and Arbitration handles labor disputes between the State or municipal government and its employees.

Besides, Conciliation Centers were created at both the Federal and State levels to promote the resolution of disputes through dialogue before reaching judicial instances.

“I invite you to put all your talent into this great responsibility, so that our State continues to enjoy a work environment in which trust, good communication and peace between the parties prevail. Always be a beacon of hope and justice,” said the Governor.
