SEG and Forum Cultural Guanajuato join efforts to benefit more than 2,000 students with art and culture activities.
The activities of the ‘Culture for All’ Program began in a coordination between the Secretary of Education of Guanajuato and the Guanajuato Cultural Forum to strengthen the artistic and cultural manifestations of Guanajuatenses, with the participation of more than 150 basic education students from the Regional Delegation of Leon.
The activities of the program are presented through artistic and cultural presentations of children’s theater or educational concerts in the Mateo Herrera Auditorium, as well as guided tours to see the exhibits of the Museum of Art and History of Guanajuato.
The Culture for All program, which is held during the months of September and November, seeks to benefit more than 2,000 basic education students from public schools located in priority attention areas of Guanajuato.
One of the objectives is to strengthen the link between art and education, as well as to expand the scope of visits by students to cultural venues, while promoting values for healthy coexistence.
