Guanajuato strengthens micro, small and medium-sized businesses with the 3rd. Bajio SME Expo

With the participation of 20 purchasing companies that carried out negotiations with more than 150 local suppliers, and with specialized pavilions such as Marca Gto, Employment Fair, business meeting and Networking activities, the 3rd edition of the Bajio SME Expo was inaugurated.

Ramon Alfaro Gomez, head of the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development, highlighted the importance of MSMEs as the largest generators of employment, not only in Guanajuato, but throughout Mexico.

Alfaro emphasized that the current administration, led by Governor Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, works to generate the necessary conditions to promote the growth of MSMEs, with the aim of them becoming suppliers of world-class companies.

“In Guanajuato we are consolidating the value chains, the supplier network and the approach of new clients. For this reason, entrepreneurs continue to reaffirm their trust in a very clear public policy, focused on strengthening MSMEs, the diversification of our economic activity and the development of a more balanced economy”, said Alfaro.

This event is organized by the State Government, the Municipal Government and entrepreneurs, and has the purpose of promoting competitiveness and commercial links in the national and international markets, as well as creating a favorable ecosystem for micro, small and medium-sized companies to integrate into the value chain, focusing towards a corporate social responsibility scheme.

It also provides participating MSMEs with tools that promote their organizational and economic development and growth. Through training, conferences, exhibitions, advisory tables and institutional and commercial stands, where information and experiences will be offered so that companies can enhance their businesses and increase internal trade.
