With the commitment to listen and attend to the various social sectors of Guanajuato, the Secretary of Social and Human Development of the State of Guanajuato –SEDESHU-, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo visited and toured the AC Youth Integration Center -CIJ- in Celaya.
The director of the CIJ of this municipality, Pedro Vela Salgado, took the opportunity to present the project of the new Comprehensive Youth Care Unit that they seek to build with the support of the business sector and the State Government.
They already have a lot donated by the Municipal Government in case the work is done, thanks to the efforts of the administration headed by Mayor Javier Mendoza.
Secretary Libia Dennise said she is convinced that it is a great initiative for the benefit of the young people of Guanajuato, since she considers it important to “bet on spaces where there can be clinical care.”
The Secretary said that she will present the project to the different organisms of the State Government to analyze it and determine the viability of its construction, in addition to incorporating members of the private sector to increase the possibilities of materializing it.
The President of the Celayense Business Association, Ismael Perez Ordaz, recognized the interest and sensitivity of Secretary Libia Garcia to review the executive project, since he assured it is “a conjunction of wills.”
The Youth Integration Centers are dedicated to the prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, scientific research and training of specialists in the field of drug use and mental health; there are 120 units distributed throughout Mexico, of which 4 are located in Guanajuato in the municipalities of Leon, Salamanca and Guanajuato capital, as well as Celaya.
Secretary Libia Garcia offered to hold various work groups to continue reviewing the technical, financing and operational aspects with the various State secretaries that should be involved. However, she insisted that they have her support and accompaniment. Present in this event were directors of the Salamanca, Guanajuato and Leon CIJ centers.
