“For the People’s Government, it is a satisfaction to support entrepreneurs, that is why through the Mi Negocio Pa’Delante program, we make the dreams come true for those who work every day to get ahead,” said the Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo.

Libia led the delivery of support to 180 women beneficiaries of the “Mi Negocio Pa’Delante” program.

This time, in-kind support is being given to female entrepreneurs from 21 municipalities of Guanajuato, with an investment of more than 3 million 784 thousand pesos, intended for the acquisition of furniture, machinery, equipment and tools that will allow them to start or strengthen their businesses.

The women who benefited are from:

  • Abasolo, Acambaro, Apaseo El Alto, Apaseo El Grande, Atarjea, Celaya, Comonfort, Coroneo, Cortazar, Cueramaro, Dolores Hidalgo, Irapuato, Leon, Ocampo, Salvatierra, San Felipe, San Francisco del Rincon, San Jose Iturbide, Tarimoro, Tierra Blanca and Victoria

The supported projects cover activities in sectors such as food, services, textiles, handicrafts, leather and footwear, and metalworking, reflecting the diversity of talent and the productive vocation of Guanajuato.

Each piece of equipment delivered today means creating new opportunities, a kitchen that grows, a beauty parlor that becomes more formal, a workshop that is strengthened, a family that finds greater economic stability, said the Governor.

“Today is a very happy day for us because we are supporting women entrepreneurs who continue to achieve their dreams,” said Libia Dennise, who was accompanied by the Secretary of Economy, Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, and the Secretary of Women, Itzel Balderas Hernandez, as well as Mayor of Silao, Melanie Murillo Chavez.
