After a 25.5 day mission in space, the Orion capsule splashed down in the Pacific Ocean some 20 minutes from noon. NASA informed on the succesful unmanned mission that brought back a human made spacecraft to the Moon orbit.
Staff from NASA were in the place where the capsule splashed down from space. Personnel aproached the ship and rescued the Orion up un a ship that brought it to safety.
The return of the spaceship was broadcast live by diferente media outlets of NASA, helping millions on Earth witness the end of the historic return to the Moon mission after more than 50 years.
