With great enthusiasm and a vibrant community spirit, the traditional October 2025 Festivities have officially begun in Jalpa de Canovas, the designated “Magic Town” located in Purisima del Rincon.
The inaugural ceremony was led by Mayor Roberto Garcia Urbano, accompanied by the President of the Municipal DIF, Enriqueta Martinez Lopez. Also in attendance were members of the festivities committee, religious authorities, and the outgoing and incoming queens.
The group performed the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, officially inaugurating the celebrations.
Mayor Garcia Urbano emphasized the importance of keeping traditions alive and extended an invitation to all local families, visitors, and neighboring communities to enjoy the scheduled activities in a safe, family-friendly atmosphere.
The festivities are set to run from October 18 to 26, featuring an extensive program that blends religious, cultural, and musical activities, reaffirming the festive spirit and identity of this community.
The Jalpa de Canovas October Festivities Committee is composed of citizens dedicated to their community, working in collaboration with various municipal departments, including Tourism, Municipal Services, Public Safety, Auditing, and Traffic.
Throughout the week, diverse artistic and cultural presentations will take place in the Main Plaza of Jalpa de Canovas.
Jalpa de Canovas, as a Pueblo Magico, reaffirms its commitment to preserv traditions and strengthen family and community coexistence, inviting everyone to be part of this major celebration.
