The State Governor said that he is committed to guarantee the jobs of all the staff of the State Health System
On the Day of the Nurse 2021 we wish to thank by heart all the work they are doing, said the Governor

The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo honored “by heart all the nurses for the work they are doing for the health of all Guanajuatenses. They are our warriors”.
It is not over yet
As Rodriguez Vallejo presided over the Day of the Nurse, representing all Guanajuatenses, the Governor thanked the nurses for their actions and asked them to not lower their guard. “Don’t stop fighting because this is not over yet”, said the Governor.
“What they are doing is a great job because they have saved the lives of many people, that is why, the State Health System of Guanajuato is operating as one of the States with the lowest death rate in Mexico”, said the Governor.
With only own resources
“More than 500 million pesos extra have been used, to set up and improve premises, a new inflatable hospital, refurbish a hospital and turn it into a COVID 19 hospital, equipment of all kinds, all even as the State has not received any money from the Federal Government, and the investment will go on as planned with the purchase of more equipment and other ítems for hospitals”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
The commitment
The Governor said that he has the commitment to grant permanent jobs in his term to the 100 per cent of the State Health Staff.
“All our nurses should be certain that they will hold a permanent job and they shouldn’t have to sign a contract each year”, said the Governor.
Thanking all
Rodriguez Vallejo also thanked and recognized the work of all the other supporting staff in the Health Sector, because their work has been important in this pandemic crisis, he said.
“Don’t stop fighting, I know you are tired. But go on with your role, and I thank you for your work from my heart, thank you so much”, said the Governor.
The heart and brain
Daniel Alberto Diaz Martinez, the Secretary of Health, also recognized the work of the more than 8,600 nurses, “because they are the heart and brain behind Guanajuato holding the post as the best State Health System in Mexico”, said Diaz Martinez.
“Congratulations to all of you, thanks and please know that we recognize your work”, said Diaz Martinez as he asked nurses to go on with their spirit of service and to not stop providing good quality and warmth in their attention to all Guanajuatenses.
Many nurses were granted prizes and were honored in the ceremony.
