Governor agrees on investment for more than 1,500 million pesos with the American company Donaldson Filtration Solutions for León

The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, made an investment of more than 1,500 million pesos by the company Donaldson Filtration Solutions for the municipality of León.
In his tour of the United States of America the Governor seeks to attract more investment for Guanajuato, as he did today with this world leader in the manufacture of industrial filters.
“We are very happy because Guanajuato and Donaldson Company share values and a vision of the future. With this investment attraction tour, Guanajuato is consolidated as a state in which foreign companies trust”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
“We continue to create new jobs so that our young people can meet their goals with higher-paying, high-tech jobs that allow us to stay with their families and not have to leave our State to risk their lives,” said the Governor.
This Minneapolis-based company has a presence in more than 40 countries; in Mexico it has three plants and a distribution center in Aguascalientes.
Soon it will be in the Colinas de Leon Industrial Park where it will build a manufacturing center in an area of 6.3 hectares, to generate more than 600 jobs for Guanajuato families.
In this plant filters for heavy machinery used in agriculture, construction, mining and transportation will be produced.
Tod Carpenter, CEO of Donaldson Filtration Solutions, expressed his trust in the alliance with Guanajuato and said that in addition to offering jobs, growth and job security, the company meets global sustainability standards.
“Today’s visit represents our shared commitment and strategic alliance. Donaldson is a global company and now we have committed to reaching Guanajuato. With your continued support and trust, we will fulfill our purpose of advancing filtration for a cleaner world,” he said.
In this investment agreement, the Mayor of Leon, Alejandra Gutiérrez Campos, was present. Tha Mayor said that Leon will do what is needed to have the necessary urban equipment for better mobility.
Donaldson Filtration Solutions could start the construction of its plant in Leon this year and its operations could start in 2023.
