In order to enhance the competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurs -MSMEs- in the commerce, services and tourism sector, the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development (SDES), Ramon Alfaro Gomez, inaugurated the 2nd Forum “Businessmen facing a new reality, ACCIONA”; organized by CANACO SERVyTUR Leóon.

Alfaro Gomez stressed that MSMEs are the basis of the growing industry that has positioned Guanajuato as the 6th national economy, and assured that with the vision of Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, Guanajuato has been strengthened in recent years with the synergy and cross-cutting work between governments and business organizations.

“From the State Government we work transversally with the Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism in a plan that leads us to have a strong Chamber, with greater representation and vision, and fundamentally, that it has continuity,” he said.

The 2nd. CANACO Forum “ACCIONA, Businessmen facing a new reality”, is held in the 109th Anniversary of the Chamber’s Foundation and seeks to promote the development of new companies and consolidate existing ones through a cycle of conferences and a business meeting that will have the participation of more than 40 companies that provide services and local products.

The Secretary noted that the State Government, through SDES, has the firm mission of promoting the strengthening and development of the trade, services and tourism sector based on the identification of business opportunities and the development of local suppliers who cover the needs of the sector and lead to the integration of more supplying companies in the value chain.
