As part of the Valor Guanajuato strategy, promoted by the State Government through the Secretary of Economy, the workshop “Financial Instruments for Exports” was held, the goal is to strengthen the export capacity of the State’s micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

This specialized training was held at the facilities of the Guanajuato State Chamber of the Footwear Industry (CICEG), in coordination with the Leon Business Coordinating Council (CCEL) and the Foreign Trade Promotion Coordinator (COFOCE). More than 50 local companies from strategic sectors such as footwear, leather-fashion, food, services, manufacturing, and handicrafts participated.
Led by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, the Prosperity Hub works in a coordinated and cross-cutting manner to strengthen Guanajuato’s economic ecosystem, promoting actions that enable local businesses to grow and compete in international markets.

The Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, emphasized that “Guanajuato has consolidated its position as the nation’s leading exporter among non-border states, reflecting the strength of its production, its entrepreneurial dynamism, and the competitiveness of its people.”
The workshop is part of the Valor Guanajuato strategy, an initiative that seeks to provide tools and support to local companies, providing them with access to mechanisms that strengthen their preparation for participating in international markets through value integration schemes.

Through these actions, the State Government reaffirms its commitment to strengthening Guanajuato’s economic and export ecosystem, offering growth opportunities for MSMEs, which represent a fundamental part of the State’s productive and employment infrastructure.
The Valor Guanajuato strategy is part of a comprehensive State economic development policy that aims to promote balanced regional growth, generate opportunities for business innovation, foster the internationalization of Guanajuatense companies, and consolidate stronger and more connected value chains.

Local supply is a priority, and Guanajuato has talent, experience, and a network of highly professional companies capable of responding to the challenges of the global industry.
The workshop is proof of the joint and coordinated work of the private sector, organizations, and the State Government, the economic engine that combines efforts to offer tailored solutions for the various productive sectors of Guanajuato.
