We want better trained police elements so that they have better results, said the Governor
More than $36.8 million pesos are invested in training and equipment

As part of the resources of the State Fund to Improve Municipal Public Security, Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, presented equipment and services of professionalization to the Police Corps of Leon and to improve the Civil Protection areas, the Communication Center and Police Training.
Training and equipment
“Today we are improving the Municipal Police of Leon with training and equipment. Strong Police Corps make strong Municipalities and they in turn make a strong State”, said the Governor.
Against crime
“We want Police elements who are better prepared, better trained to perform their duties for the community; Local Police corps that are better equipped so that they do better in their actions against crime”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
In the last few weeks other municipalities of the North, North East and South regions of Guanajuato, received equipment and certificates of professionalization of their elements.
A commitment
In Leon $36.8 million pesos were invested, of that amount 9.4 million pesos were invested in training.
The Governor said that the commitment of the Government of Guanajuato goes on and it will maintain its support to local Police corps to keep building security from local actions.
Shut the door to crime
“We will keep working in the combat against crime in Guanajuato. We will keep working together to shut the door to crime and guarantee peace and calm to citizens”, said the Governor.
