As part of the CONFIA program proximity security actions benefited more than 160 people with interviews, recommendations and social support

The Secretary of Security and Peace, in collaboration with the Secretary of National Defense -Sedena-, the National Guard -GN- and the State Public Security Forces -FSPE-, deployed mixed cells this weekend in the municipalities of Purisima del Rincon and San Francisco del Rincon, belonging to Region X.
As part of these efforts, five strategic observation points were set up, and patrols were carried out within the municipalities, on a stretch of highway and on two boulevards. These actions contribute to strengthening surveillance and security in the region, which directly benefits local communities.
During the deployment, 12 colonies were attended to with 27 streets patrolled and 15 ground surveillances. In addition, 382 people, 183 vehicles and 125 motorcycles were inspected, and 308 queries were made to the C5i system, in strict adherence to current operating protocols.
Also, outreach actions were implemented, including contacts with more than 160 people, 142 citizen interviews, 140 recommendations on security and prevention, the application of 25 citizen perception surveys and the delivery of 16 social aids, reinforcing trust in citizens and authorities.
In addition, 15 proximity quadrants were established, of which eight correspond to San Francisco del Rincon and seven to Purisima del Rincon. Each quadrant is made up of three elements of the FSPE and two from Sedena or GN, which allowed for a permanent presence in the areas with the greatest need for surveillance.
The Operational Coordination strategy of the New Anti-Crime Intelligence Force -CONFIA- continues to generate positive results through regionalization and Evidence-Based Police Interventions, which is why a more precise and effective approach is being used in each region of Guanajuato.
