Next October 14 and 15, the Park Guanajuato Bicentenario brings together wine houses from the State of Guanajuato in “Mientras Tanto Un vino”, an event that is part of the “Vendimias 2024” calendar.
The Secretary of Tourism of Guanajuato promotes the wine segment with these events that mark the beginning of the grape harvest celebrations to begin the wine production process.
This year, PGB celebrates the seventh edition of “Mientras Tanto un Vino” with participating municipalities of:
- Leon, San Miguel de Allende, Salvatierra, Dolores Hidalgo CIN, and San Felipe
With participating wineries like:
- Tierra de Luz, El Lobo, Vinos Guaname, San Jose Lavista, San Bernardino, Las Maravillas, Cava Ortiz, among other
Attendees will enjoy six tastings scheduled at 1, 2 and 4 in the afternoon, which will be run by Finca Rosas, from Salvatierra, which offers traditional products 100% artisanal, with great quality and exquisite flavor; and San Jose Lavista, which is the most exclusive winery and wine estate in San Miguel de Allende.
This event will offer delicious cuisine such as:
- Mexican snacks, fine steaks, wood-fired pizza, Argentine cakes, paella, tapas, pinchos, tlayudas, hamburgers, cheese boards and charcuterie, also, visitors will be able to purchase and take home the Guanajuato wines that they like the most
At ‘Meanwhile a Wine’ there will also be gourmet pastries, silver for sale, artisan products such as ice cream, jams, distillates, ceramics, wine paintings -incredible images captured on wine-based paper-, and much more.
Music and wine are an excellent combination, so there will be live Trova performers and various versatile groups, as well as a ska band, that will liven up the event during the weekend, for the delight and entertainment of the visitors.
The cost to access the Park for the seventh edition of ‘Meanwhile a Wine’ will be 75 pesos for adults and 50 pesos for children below 1.20 meters and seniors with INAPAM credentials.
The cost includes access to the boats and zip line, and entry to current exhibitions such as “Km/h: Made in Guanajuato”, the Identidades art gallery and the new permanent exhibition “Planet Alive”.
