Ediciones MIQ takes its trilingual books to book fairs in Coyoacan and San Miguel de Allende

With a collection of more than 45 books of Cervantina and universal literature, the publishing label of the Don Quixote Iconographic Museum Ediciones MIQ, will be present with editorial sales and literary activities to present its most recent publications at the International Book Fair in Coyoacan -FILCO- and the San Miguel de Allende International Fair from June 7 to 16, 2024.

Ediciones MIQ has distinguished itself by publishing children and youth books translated into three languages, and indigenous languages ​​such as:

  • Nahuatl, Otomi and Uza’, Spanish, English and even French, to encourage reading from an early age and promote the permanence of the native languages ​​of Mexico

Among these publications are “Don Quixote for Children”, “The Little Prince”, “Popol Wuj”, and “Flower with no Root” as the most loved by readers.

At FILCO, the museum and Ediciones La Rana are part of the Guanajuato publishing houses as a guest State, with a series of activities to present editorial novelties.

During the San Miguel de Allende International Fair, at the El Nigromante Cultural Center, the Don Quixote Iconographic Museum also presents books in other languages.

One of them is a magical tour through a fantastic place where three brothers arrive and meet various delicious and friendly characters. Reading, guessing, cooking as a family and playing readers will go into this unique town.

Besides the fairs where the MIQ participates, the books can be purchased at the museum bookstore in Manuel Doblado #1 downtown Guanajuato, City and in the main bookstores in Mexico such as El Sotano, Fondo de Cultura Economica, Educal, among other.

The Iconographic Museum of Don Quixote is located in the heart of the city of Guanajuato, recognized for having one of the largest collections of artwork inspired by Don Quixote de la Mancha with more than 900 pieces in its collection.

Thanks to the collaboration of the Government of the State of Guanajuato, the museum has the editorial seal emanating from the publications of the Coloquios Cervantinos Internacionales, its own chamber music group, the Sinfonietta MIQ; as well as the La Manchita children cultural center.
