The Industrial Connection Strategy boosts local suppliers, promoting the growth and competitiveness of companies in Guanajuato

With the participation of 105 Guanajuatense companies, Suppliers Day was held with Mazda, which has high potential to integrate into the automotive manufacturer’s supply chain.
This meeting is part of the State Industrial Connection Strategy, promoted by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, whose focus is for local suppliers to schedule business meetings with established or recently invested leading companies.
The Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, explained that the fundamental purpose is to promote the development of regional industrial value chains and highlight Guanajuatense talent as a relevant strategic partner for major national and international investments.
The participating Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) successfully met Mazda’s criteria for inclusion in its supplier network. They also met the standards required to present their products, services, and capabilities with the intention of integrating into the State’s supply chains.
Supplier Day is consolidated as a key element of the State’s economic plan and the collaborative work between the Undersecretary for Investment Attraction and the Undersecretary for MSME Development, as it promotes prosperity, regional development, and job creation by diversifying their offer.
The People’s Government continues to strengthen the connection between local talent and opportunities with global reach through the Industrial Connection strategy, positioning Guanajuato’s MSMEs as protagonists of sustainable industrial growth.
