Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, started and inaugurated paved streets, and delivered more than 300 solar heaters to benefit the inhabitants of Manuel Doblado.
“I am very happy to be on this work tour that began with the supervision of the rehabilitation work of the Temple of the Virgin of Dolores in the community of Frias, and then we started the works on 4th Street, in the Hidalgo neighborhood , in which more than 6 million 800 thousand pesos were invested,” said the Governor who was with Mayor, Blanca Haydee Preciado Perez.
Afterwards we took a tour and a symbolic delivery of Jose Antonio Torres, Ignacio Allende and Pipila streets here in the downtown area. They are recently rehabilitated streets, where an investment of 8.2 million pesos has been made, contributed equally between the Municipality and the State, noted the Governor.
“And today 312 solar heaters are also being delivered to benefit 554 people from 72 locations in the municipality. The investment is 2 million 393 thousand pesos, in equal parts, by the State and the Municipality”, said the Governor.
This program is one of the most successful in Guanajuato, because a solar heater brings many benefits to families. One of them, savings in expenses, since now they will no longer spend on gas or firewood, and that money can be used for other family needs, said the Governor.
The heaters also contribute to the environment and to reduce the high temperatures that climate change has brought us, besides the droughts.
“With this Solar Heater program, Guanajuato is second national place with the largest number of solar heaters in operation”, said the Governor.
151 water storage tanks were also delivered, benefiting 410 people from 36 towns in Manuel Doblado.
“I want to tell the people of Manuel Doblado that they are not alone, that they have always had the support of the State Government, and that will continue to be the case, until the last day of my Administration I will continue to support the families of this municipality,” said the Governor.
