The fifth edition of Moka Fest will be held in the Magic Town of Jalpa de Canovas with the participation of 37 exhibitors of coffee, chocolate and desserts.

This event will be held on Sunday, February 16 and aims to recognize the work of baristas, chocolatiers, gastronomic entrepreneurs, chefs, and pastry chefs.
Heriberto Mendoza Cabrera, organizer of Moka Fest, highlighted that 3,500 people are expected to attend and an economic impact of 1.5 million pesos for the host destination.

The event will be held from 11am to 8pm, residents of Guanajuato and visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of cuisine from exhibitors from Purisima del Rincon, San Francisco del Rincon, Manuel Doblado, Leon, Irapuato, Guanajuato, Penjamo, Celaya and Santiago Maravatio.
There will be a bohemian atmosphere for family enjoyment with an artistic program that includes the performance by Eduardo Serat, a children’s clown show “Botanitas”, a singing workshop with Felipe Argot, Tahitian dance, classic rock and more.

There will also be free tastings and workshops on coffee painting, chocolate strawberries, burning of cajeta from Celaya and tasting of exotic chocolates among other.

Moka Fest 2025 is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a good coffee, chocolate or dessert and enjoy the calm, atmosphere and architecture of Jalpa de Canovas, Magic Town.
The event presentation was attended by Jose Roberto Camargo Perez, Director of Tourism of Purisima del Rincon, representing the Mayor of Purisima del Rincon, Roberto Garcia Urbano; the barista Andres Roberto Campos, the master chocolatier Jonathan Martinez Reyes and Lolita Cabrera from Conservas Braniff, representing the artisanal producers of Jalpa de Canovas.
