Libia urges public servants to work for people

Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo visited the Government Palace, the Secretary of the New Beginning, the offices of the State DIF and the Guanajuato General Hospital

Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, visited State agencies to meet and talk with public servants, whom she urged to work with vocation and for the benefit of the people.

“Every public servant is the face of this Administration. I want you to feel it, to live it and to truly show that this will be a Government that will always be close to the people, a Government that puts people first”, said Libia.

During this visit, Libya reaffirmed her support for women working in public service, and added that there will be zero tolerance for sexual harassment and workplace harassment in her administration.

The Governor visited the Government Palace, the Secretary of the New Beginning and the facilities of the State DIF, where she was accompanied by the heads of the institutions, Jorge Jimenez Lona, Rosario Corona Amador and Alfonso Borja Pimentel, respectively.

“In my case you have a Governor who will work hard for Guanajuato, who has her heart set on this project and I am very excited and happy to begin this day of work of many more days that are coming, days of committed work close to the people,” said Libia Dennise.

The Governor, with the Secretary of Health, Gabriel Alfredo Cortes Alcala, visited the Guanajuato General Hospital ‘Dr. Valentin Gracia’.

Libia and the director of the Hospital, Jose Juan Torres Hernandez, toured the facilities where they greeted patients and their families, and the medical and administrative staff.

“Guanajuato is very proud of this health system, but we can always do more”, said Libia Dennise.

“I want to ask each and every one of you to be a reflection of what this new administration will be like; that when people arrive, we welcome them with empathy, with closeness, because working for health should move us and make us sensitive,” said the Governor.

This hospital has 411 health workers who care for patients from the municipalities of Guanajuato, Silao and Dolores Hidalgo.
