Libia calls to redouble efforts for justice

Libia Dennise urges members of the State Attorney General to work effectively and professionally, with empathy and solidarity, with dedication and vision, with collaboration and willingness to achieve justice in Guanajuato

“This is a land worth working for every day. Let’s make Guanajuato a land of hope, let’s do what we have to do, society and government, institutions and citizens,” said the Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, in the First Report of the head of the State Attorney General’s Office, Gerardo Vazquez Alatriste.

“Today the call is to continue working as a team, as one, with the goal of guaranteeing peace and tranquility to the families of Guanajuato,” said the Governor.

Libia Dennise noted that it is in the Prosecutor’s Office where quality justice is sought for the construction of peace; it is a space in which its most legitimate foundation is in the trust of the people, with ethical, honest, responsible and consistent behavior.

“We are making it clear today, in this exercise of accountability, that the causes of the people are also our causes, that the pain of the victims is also our pain, and that the daily struggle of parents to leave a better future to their daughters and sons is the same struggle that we share every day in the institutions of the State,” he said.

In Guanajuato, institutions are a fundamental pillar on which both the rule of law and harmonious social coexistence can be built, where the committed work of the people who comprise it transcends.

Libia urged those responsible for the administration of justice to consolidate themselves as professionals, so that the Attorney General’s Office continues to advance and develop more effective processes to carry out work that respects human rights and has a great social vision.

“Never forget that when someone comes to you, it is because they have already been a victim, directly or indirectly, of a crime, and that requires us, out of conviction, not out of obligation, to treat them with dignity, empathy and professionalism, using all intellectual and technological tools to respond promptly and ensure that there is full reparation for the damage and that there is no impunity in Guanajuato,” said the Governor.

“Congratulations on your commitment towards the people of our State. Today I want to invite you to redouble your efforts, to continue working and giving all of you for Guanajuato,” said Libia Dennise.
