As part of her work agenda, the Governor of Guanajuato attended the inauguration of the Mexico Pavilion, where the King and Queen of Spain, Felipe VI and Letizia Ortiz, were present, which underscores the diplomatic and cultural importance of the fair as a platform to strengthen ties between nations and promote tourism as an engine of development.
FITUR 2026 once again becomes a meeting point for the industry, with the attendance of thousands of companies, professionals from more than 150 countries and a wide range of products and services that represent the diversity of international tourism.
Mexico assumes a leading role in this edition, as the guest country and strategic partner, with a historic participation that includes the presence of the 32 states of the Republic, more than 800 tourism service providers and a comprehensive agenda to showcase the cultural, natural, gastronomic and experiential richness that the country offers to visitors from all over the world.
Guanajuato, with its historical and cultural identity and its growing range of tourist experiences, is part of this national delegation.
