With the axis “A future with sustainability and inclusion: Innovation in the Mexican industry”, the Annual Meeting of Industrialists (RAI) 2022 will be held in this city.
This was announced by Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, for October 4, 5 and 6, where more than 800 leaders and businessmen from the industrial sector of Mexico will meet to analyze the progress and challenges of the Sector and present initiatives and projects to contribute to the sustained development of the industry.
“This RAI is an investment that will let us generate a positive opinion of Guanajuato and therefore attract more national investment, which is very important for us, because the investment money stays in our country. We are going to be up to the task to receive the industrialists”, said the Governor.
With RAI, he added, businessmen get to know part of Guanajuato with the Hannover Messe, the culture, people, services, and other attractions of our State, and they are convinced that Guanajuato is a good state to invest.
The President of Concamin, Jose Abugaber Andonie, said that the participation of more than 160 companies from 10 countries and more than 30 thousand visitors are expected in the 3 days of the event that could leave an economic spending of more than 400 million pesos for Guanajuato.
The topics of Industrial Policy, 4.0 innovation and digital development, Evolution of foreign trade, Inclusion, Infrastructure and water and the 2030 Agenda will be presented at the conferences.
RAI is the most important annual event in the Mexican industrial sector, led by the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of Mexico (Concamin), which represents 119 industrial chambers and associations.
There are close to one million Mexican and foreign companies that make up 35% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), achieve 90% of exports and 42% of total formal employment in Mexico.
Along with the RAI, the fourth edition of the Industrial Transformation Mexico (ITM) 2022 will be held from October 5 to 7 at the Poliforum Leon.
The Director of the ITM, Azul Ogazon, said that this fair is the most important of the industry 4.0, where more than 30 thousand visitors are expected.
