“The ITM has become the capital of ideas and innovation; of technological development and industry 4.0, “it is an accelerator of the present and the future,” said the State Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, when leading the opening ceremony.
“It is an honor that Guanajuato is once again the headquarters of the best industrial and technological fair in Mexico and Latin America. And what better than this meeting for us to continue building the industry of tomorrow,” said the Governor.
There is a very complete education and training program for businessmen, entrepreneurs, women and young students. And national and international buyers interested in learning about the latest technology to digitize their factories, added the Governor.
At the ITM there will be 200 national and international exhibitors, 15 thousand visitors from more than 30 countries and more than 100 conferences.
The ITM promotes the so-called triple helix, because here are companies, academia and the government working together as a great team. For some reason, for 76 years, the Hannover Messe has established itself as the most important industrial innovation fair in the world, noted Rodriguez Vallejo.
The Governor reiterated that for Guanajuato it is a pride that in 5 years the ITM has established itself as the most important industrial fair in Mexico and Latin America.
The Governor thanked all the support given by the directors of the Deutsche Messe, led by Jochen Köckler and Bernd Rohde, as well as the Ambassador of Germany Wolfgang Dold, and the Ambassador of the European Union in Mexico, Gautier Mignot.
“The ITM has meant a lot to us and has translated into a very important factor in achieving good results in key indicators of our economy and development. For example, this is a result of society and government, we have gone in these five years from being the sixth to being the fifth economy in Mexico,” said the Governor.
This week, said the Governor, Guanajuato is the industrial capital of the country, having the two best events in the sector, which are the ITM and the RAI. Here we have the most important business leaders in the country, and also the main technologies and world-leading industrial solutions.
“Welcome all to the fifth edition of Industrial Transformation Mexico. Welcome to the most important industrial fair, the fair of creativity and innovation. I wish you the greatest success,” said the Governor.
The Governor of Guanajuato participated in the panel “Five years of ITM Promoting Industry 4.0 for sustainable industrial development.”
Participants discussed the role that cooperation between Mexico and Germany, and the ITM in particular, has played to promote sustainable industrial development through Industry 4.0. Based on this panorama, the opportunities offered by the current situation will be explored to strengthen further opportunities for economic cooperation among both countries.
