IDEA GTO and CANACINTRA Celaya held their fifth session of Communiti, the entrepreneurial community that brings open innovation and strategy and collective intelligence to entrepreneurs and businessmen in the region.
This session was held at the facilities of the University of Celaya, with speakers like:
- Giovanni Angelucci, Director of Horizontec
- Carlos Franco Roble, Director of Innovation and Technology of Grupo SSC
- Fernando Balderas Lopez, President of Parque Tecnologíco Sanmiguelense and Grupo SSC
They talked about:
SME 4.0 Program and discussed the importance of Industry 4.0, and how it is transforming all the traditional aspects of companies, from the production process, the product, the business model, even the client
“Today companies must be intelligent in all aspects”, said Giovanni Angelucci, during his participation.
Fernando Balderas highlighted the importance of digital transformation as a boost for companies, as it makes them more competitive and resilient.
“Digital transformation is no longer an option, it is a necessity that directly impacts the business, and the first step is to change the culture of the organization towards technological thinking”, said Balderas.
Franco Roble noted that for a company, moving towards digitalization poses many challenges, such as rethinking its operation, its processes, its culture and its technological infrastructure. “The new reality must be assumed by implementing new technologies such as Big Data or artificial intelligence, otherwise companies will be left behind,” said Roble.
During the panel, they discussed SMEs from Guanajuato and the potential they have to achieve this industry 4.0 through collaborative innovation, connected means of production, integrated supply chains, digital distribution channels and technology-based products.
Through initiatives like this, Communiti strengthens the Valley of Mindfacture and strengthens the entrepreneurial ecosystem by connecting more entrepreneurs and achieve an evolution of ideas.
