The Government of Guanajuato takes new investments to more zones of Guanajuato diversifying the productive vocation of the State

As the State Administration goes on, the Industrial Parks of Guanajuato have allowed the attraction of 162 investment projects that represent a capital of more than 9 billion dollars and the generation of more than 64,700 direct jobs.
The Governor of the State of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo promotes the development and consolidation of economic infrastructure for the installation of national and foreign companies inside and outside the industrial corridor.
The head of the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development -SDES-, Ramon Alfaro Gomez, said that there are:
- 6,800 hectares used for productive activities
- In 46 Parks
- In 17 municipalities of Guanajuato
As a result the diversification and consolidation goes on in the sectors:
- Automotive-auto parts, new technologies, plastic, metal-mechanics, services, agro-food, leather-footwear, household appliances, textile-clothing-industry in general, construction, ceramics and materials, pharmaceutical and cosmetic
The parks in operation are distributed in the following municipalities:
- Abasolo, Apaseo el Grande, Celaya, Comonfort, Doctor Mora, Irapuato, Leon, Manuel Doblado, Ocampo, Romita, Salamanca, Salvatierra, San Jose de Iturbide, San Luis de la Paz, San Miguel de Allende, Silao, Uriangato, Valle de Santiago and Villagran
The Government of Guanajuato aims to generate the conditions for the development of new investment projects through the diversification of the Guanajuatense economy by bringing companies to all the territory of Guanajuato.
By detonating new poles, the local economy is strengthened by generating greater demand for services that contribute to the promotion of new economic labor vocations that are taken advantage of by the inhabitants of the regions with industrial potential in Guanajuato.
