The Institute of Innovation, Science and Entrepreneurship for Competitiveness of the State was presented
The human capital of Guanajuato will be supported and developed for the well being of the State

Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, the Governor of Guanajuato presented the new Institute of Innovation, Science and Entrepreneurship for Competitiveness of the State called “IDEA GTO”.
The growth of the State
“With the activation of this Institute, we will support and will work with the ideas of the Guanajuatense, to generate the innovation that contributes to the growth of Guanajuato and to the creation of jobs”, said the Governor.
Rodriguez Vallejo noted that “IDEA GTO” will be a source of opportunities and jobs, as well as creativity and development of talent in Guanajuato.
With IDEA GTO, said the Governor, our State will be in the vanguard of economy, knowledge 4.0 and technological development.
A commitment
“We are here today to fulfill a commitment with entrepreneurs from Guanajuato. As I announced last May 25th during the presentation of the Plan of Action Guanajuato, we are going to build en ecosystem of innovation and entepreneurship that helps to the reactivation of our State”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
IDEA GTO does not start from zero, said the Governor, on the contrary, it will use and take advantage of what has already been built by society and the Government of Guanajuato.
All will be part of it
“It will be integrated by groups of entrepreneurs, of the civil society and of Government, by technological and innovation centers, industrial clusters, education and investigation institutions”, explained the Governor
Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo said that innovating is to break paradigms and barriers, to solve problems. “It means to put the knowledge of the world in the hands and minds of our children and youngsters. It will help us produce more and better. Create jobs and opportunities for a greater development”, he said.
The resource of the 3rd Millennium
“We will support our children, youngsters and entrepreneurs. I am convinced that the intelectual capital is the resource of the third millennium. Let’s have in mind that innovation is part of our DNA and that we are motivators of change, by nature and by conviction”, said the Governor.
The General Director of IDEA GTO, Antonio Reus Montano, said that the ideas move the world, “that is why we must support our entrepreneurs. In Guanajuato we are responsible to lead innovation in Mexico and the world”.
“We will work hard so that innovation and entrepreneurship become the pillars of the economy of Guanajuato”, said Reus Montano.
