There are five offices of assistance for Guanajuatenses in the US and a telephone line for the rest of the world, informed the Governor

Governor of Guanajuato Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, insisted in the support for Guanajuatenses in the United States and in other countries so that they keep close to their families.
Rodriguez said that no matter how difficult it is to be away from their home, from their family and their country due to the effects of the Covid 19 and unemployment, Guanajuatenses are not alone, and that from the State we will do whatever is needed so that they get close to their loved ones.
“We are in contact with many organizations that offer support and medical attention to migrants, no matter their legal status; to those who are planning to travel to Guanajuato, I advice you to abide to the regulations of the World Health Organization, which advices not to travel in this moment from one country to another.
“Traveling today means exposing yourselves and others to contagion with Coronavirus; it is for your safety and we are here to support you in our offices abroad”, said the Governor.
Rodriguez adviced those interested in the US to call any of the 5 offices that Guanajuato State Government has in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Burlington in North Carolina.
For those Guanajuatenses who are stranded in other places in the world, the Governor also expressed the support, and said that even though it is an international issue that corresponds to the Federal Government since there are migration matters, still, he said, the Government of Guanajuato is following each and every case that is reported, and he announced the telephone line +1888 597 2811.
“I have ordered the State Secretary of the Migrant and International Connection, to support them serving as a link with Federal organisms, communicating with their families and investigating about flights for their return as soon as posible”, said the Governor. As a means of protection for migrants who have already returned to Guanajuato and for their families, the Governor called on them to stay at home to safeguard their health.
