The Government of Guanajuato launched the call Hazlo Viral 2023 nationwide, in this edition new categories are added and it is strengthened in the area of updating and learning through training, talks and webinars.
The call opens from this day and closes on August 4. The award date will be next August 31 at the Poliforum in Leon, informed at a press conference the General Coordinator of Social Communication of Guanajuato, Alan Sahir Marquez Becerra.
The purpose gof this program is to reward the most creative content of value in social networks, and to involve the new generations in the approach of proposals that improve the lives of all people. Women and men over 18 years of age from all over the country participate, they can participate individually or as a team, said Marquez Becerra who was with the General Director of JUVENTUDES GTO, Antonio de Jesus Navarro.

- Prevention
- Sports
- Environment and care for the planet
- Innovation and Mindfacture
- Tourism
The special Categories are:
- Content with Cause
- Content Grandeza GTO (this category is only for people who live or were born in Guanajuato)
- And the content with the most reach in any of the 7 categories will also be awarded
The prizes are:
- 1st. Place: MX$50,000.00 and a national flight for more than MX$15,000.00
- 2nd. Place: MX$30,000.00
- 3rd. Place: Mx$20,000.00
- For the content with the greatest reach, a prize and special recognition will be awarded
The winners will be selected by specialized jury teams in each of the categories.
Also participating in the press conference were the Secretary of the Gto Health System, Daniel Alberto Diaz Martinez; the State Secretary of Tourism, Juan Jose Alvarez Brunel; and the General Director of IDEA GTO, Juan Antonio Reus; as well as the General Director of State Digital Strategy, Esmeralda Mandujano.
In 2022, the first edition of ‘Hazlo Viral’ was held, as a need to create a space where young people will speak to young people, through the channels in which they generate communication, such as social networks, using the reach and impact as they launched #HazloViral.
The purpose in this edition is still that young people create valuable content with which they educate, inform, inspire, promote and sensitize people on issues of prevention of risk situations for life and health, impulse to innovation and Mindfacture.
The goal is that participants promote the tourism offer of Guanajuato and sports, as well as care for the environment and the planet, promote respect for fundamental rights, the adoption and experience of values, attitudes, behaviors and ways of life, which have as a purpose to reaffirm the identity of people, so that young people develop and strengthen their sense of belonging, through the expression of their ideas, creativity and innovation in various social networks.
Alan Sahir Marquez recalled that Hazlo Viral 2022 had:
- 2,500 participants
- 830 registered users
- 720 participating content
- 10 winners
- Nearly 26 million was the reach of the participating videos
- 103 thousand 701 visits to the page hazloviral.mx
“In Guanajuato we are making a difference to gain space on digital platforms, it is a team effort between society and government, proof of this is Hazlo Viral,” said Marquez Becerra.
