Members of the Penitentiary System of the State Secretary of Security have training in Colorado
Guanajuatense elements are certified in transport of prisoners

The Secretary of Public Security of Guanajuato, through the General Direction of the Penitentiary System of Guanajuato, received the training program “Transport of People with Limited Freedom” in Canyon City, Colorado, United States of America.
A delegation of guards of the Penitentiary Centers of Valle de Santiago, Guanajuato and Leon participated in the training in the headquarters of the International Center of Training of Correctionals -ICMTC- of the Corrections Department of Colorado.
This training occurred with workshops that included theory and practice, as well as in field practices; presented to expert personnel in each of the areas of knowledge by the Mayor Mark Conant, Director of the Program of the ICMTC.
After the training the police guards were in the graduation ceremony to receive, with other Mexican delegations, the satisfactory credits.
The General Direction of the Penitentiary System of Guanajuato is certified by the American Corrections Agency –ACA- with the highest standards for handling its own systems, based in governorship and respect to Human Rigthts.
