The Judiciary of Guanajuato, is a solid institution, with leadership and great national recognition, it is the best in Mexico”, said Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo.
The Governor was at the 2023 Activities Report of the President of the Supreme Court of Justice and the Council of the Judiciary Power of Guanajuato, Judge Ma. Rosa Medina Rodriguez.
“This Annual Report gives us the certainty that in Guanajuato, there is a guarantee of the Rule of Law and that this action is projected towards all municipalities. Because your work is reflected in respect for the law, in social harmony, the trust of investors, and in more jobs for families,” said the Governor.
Rodriguez Vallejo said that “all this is possible thanks to the fact that the Judiciary conducts itself with ethics, honesty and values; with impartiality, legality and efficiency. In Guanajuato we have a strong, independent and consolidated Judiciary”.
He said that each of the five guiding axes into which they have divided their Report has a clear purpose of achieving the well-being of society.
Some of these actions are the consolidation of all justice delivery systems, notably the first place in Civil Justice; efficiency in criminal systems, with more than 99% of resolutions issued within the legal deadlines in commercial orality; and the successful start of the new Labor Justice system.
“Also, the issue of Transparency and Accountability; Training and Updating of personnel; and very prominently the cutting edge in technology and infrastructure, because the latter goes directly to the benefit of the citizen”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
“Examples of this are the digitization of files; and the inauguration of a room in the Cortazar Criminal Orality Court, and the next delivery of the Labor Orality Court in León. All of these are very important actions and concrete results that reflect an institution that works with professionalism and with the commitment to contribute to the development of the state,” noted the Governor.
Rodríguez Vallejo pointed out that an achievement of the Judicial Branch, or of the other two Branches, becomes an action of collective benefit. And that has largely been the success of Guanajuato, the respect between the three Powers, and above all collaboration and teamwork.
Ma. Rosa Medina Rodríguez, President of the Judiciary of the State of Guanajuato, when presenting her activities report, highlighted that this power has been characterized by its independence, impartiality, efficiency, legality, honesty, objectivity, competence, and equity, which has made it possible for the administration of justice in the State of Guanajuato to reach a level of excellence.
