Even though Mexico suffers from a continuous shortage of medicine to treat and control some illnesses like diabetes, Guanajuato has twice the supply then the national average, informed the head of the State Health Secretary, Daniel Diaz Martinez.
Excellent administration
Thanks to the resources and the excellent administration, the Public Health Institute of Guanajuato guarantees the supply of medicine against cancer, however, the Secretary of Health accepts that it has been difficult to purchase medicines like insuline for chronic patients.
A complete supply
Diaz Martinez said that his Secretary has a very close collaboration with the Government of the State of Guanajuato so that the supply is complete, while this collaboration is maintained with the federal Secretary that sends some resources.
Diaz Martinez called on population to insist in prevention and care of health, because it is better to prevent than suffering serious illnesses that represent an enormous spending for families.
Guanajuato has a better percentage of supply than Chihuahua with 48%, while Mexico City is the worst with 0.51%.

Besides the supply of medicine the Secretary of Health maintains the integral attention in the services it offers with equipment and corrective maintenance in all installed gear in hospitals, and also observing a working dynamics that commits the Secretary of Health to maintain the quality of its services.
