In his tour of this country, Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, met with representatives of the Icelandic Chamber of Commerce and showed them how posible it is to invest in Guanajuato.
Human talent
The Governor presented the benefits of Guanajuato as an investment receiver and he highlighted the professionalization of human talent and the geographical location that allows tourism and commercial connectivity and logistics inside and outside Mexico, he also highlighted the intense work to make of Guanajuato the Valley of Mindfacture.
Professional Guanajuatenses
“Guanajuato is ready for the future, we are a humanist state, but we also have professional people who today, with their particular innovation, lead Guanajuato to the world of Mindfacture”, said the Governor.
“In Guanajuato we have a strong commitment to Industry 4.0, that is why we make public policies based on innovation, and thus, give opportunity to the development of Mindfacture in Guanajuato. For this and much more, Iceland and Guanajuato can work together”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
The sisxth economy
The Governor mentioned the importance for Guanajuato as it is the sixth largest economy in Mexico with the presence of several industrial and commercial sectors, where the automotive sector stands out and positions Guanajuato as the most important automotive cluster in the Americas.
Guanajuato, he said, has 43 industrial parks where there are companies from all over the world.
- In Guanajuato, he added, it is easy to acquire supplies for manufacturing with agro-industrial sectors, leather, ceramics, aerospace, among others, but above all, there is highly trained human capital where the door is opened to commercial, labor and educational innovation, which is already positioning Guanajuato as an avant-garde State heading to the Valley of Mindfacture

The Icelandic Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary non-governmental organization of businesses and individuals, led by Ari Fenger, who is the Chairman of the Board of the Chamber.
This Chamber operates 15 bilateral Chambers directly and in collaboration with other countries; this way, the trading partner countries of the bilateral chambers represent 60% of the total trade.
