In the context of International Anti-Corruption Day, the Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, led the Meeting for Honesty in the Government of the People–Building Trust, a space that reaffirms one of the central principles of this administration: to serve with integrity, transparency and deep respect for the citizens.
The Governor emphasized that honesty is not only a public policy, but a way of life that should be felt in every office, every decision, and every encounter with the people of Guanajuato.
As part of the reunion, the 2025 Honest Public Servants Awards was presented, recognizing 111 members of the People’s Government for their exemplary conduct, their vocation of service and their commitment to institutional values.
These women and men represent, the Governor said, “the silent force that dignifies public service every day.”
The 2025 editions of the National Short Film Transparency Contest and the National Social Oversight Award were also presented, where young people, organizations and citizen committees promote social oversight, the ethical use of technology and reflection on the fight against corruption.
During the meeting, the publication of the new Code of Ethics and Honesty of the State Public Administration was highlighted, it will be the guide for the actions of all departments and the framework that supports the policy of zero tolerance to harassment and workplace bullying.
In addition, it was reported that progress is being made in the creation of the Specialized Unit for Attention to Sexual Violence against Women Public Servants, instructed by the Governor, which will investigate conducts of sexual harassment with a gender perspective, impartial procedures and sensitivity.
Finally, Libia Dennise urged everyone to maintain this commitment throughout her administration. “Let us continue working with integrity to strengthen the trust of our people. Let us continue to uphold the name of Guanajuato,” she said.
