Governor inaugurates the XV edition of the Expo MIPYME Guanajuato

“We have already reached 6.2 billion dollars in investments in this administration, so at the end of the six-year term we will exceed 7 billion dollars”, said the Governor of Guanajuato Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, as he inaugurated the XV edition of the Expo MIPYME Guanajuato.
“It is a pleasure to participate in the Expo MIPYME Guanajuato, the most important business event in the state for micro, small and medium-sized companies; after making a 15-day tour of Japan and South Korea, where we managed to attract 1 billion dollars of investment for Guanajuato”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
“These new investments are a great opportunity to also strengthen MSMEs, which are the great engine of the economy and the ones that generate the most jobs for Guanajuato families”, said the Governor.
In Guanajuato we continue to support MSMEs, for example, in the last 10 years, GTO Funds have delivered more than 51,000 loans to micro, small and medium-sized companies, said the Governor.
“Of those 51,000 supports, 73 percent of the credits, listen well, 73 percent of the credits, have been granted by this administration”, said the Governor.
“We are saying here that from 2018 to 2022, 23,767 financings to MIPYMES were placed throughout Guanajuato, which represents a credit flow of more than 2 thousand 604 million pesos. We are also supporting their internationalization. We want MSMEs to conquer the world with their products”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
“We are also promoting the quality of Guanajuato products with the Marca GTO. There are already more than 5,200 companies that hold and maintain the Marca GTO distinctive, which represents more than 30,000 products and services with a presence in 40 municipalities”, said the Governor.
Rodriguez Vallejo recognized the 31 buying companies and 80 suppliers that are participating in this Expo, where more than 300 business opportunities are expected with projected sales for 120 million pesos.
“The State Government’s commitment is to continue supporting our MSMEs, because if things go well for you, Guanajuato also does well”, said the Governor.
