Guanajuato will become the epicenter of business and international events in Mexico and Latin America.

Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo inaugurated the -Congress Guanajuato: Global Destination of International Events- with the goal of sharing the best experiences, practices, technologies and advice from the most important representatives of the sector, to reactivate the local economy.

“This is the start of a great effort to take Guanajuato to the next level. I want to congratulate those who are part of this Congress, because they are showing their will to learn from the great ones, and they are also showing their love for Guanajuato”, said the Governor.

With Hannover Fairs

“Today we celebrate this Congress, hand in hand with Hannover Fairs, with very clear goals: Make of Guanajuato a global destination of international events”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.

“Besides maintaining the goal of economic reactivation, support the development of new business models and promote the digital adaptation as part of our vision of the future”, said the Governor.

Five axis

“And this Congress is part of the arrival of Hannover Fairs Mexico to Guanajuato. This is one of the five axis agreed with them to strengthen the ecosystem of the industry of fairs and exhibitions in Guanajuato”, noted Rodriguez Vallejo.

• The first axis, is the twinning of Poliforum Leon with the fair premises in Hannover, Germany.
• The second axis, is to have business meetings with suppliers, so that more local companies are part of the value chain.
• The third axis, is to elaborate a route map for the fair and exhibition industry in Guanajuato.
• The fourth axis, is to develop an education program of dual education with young Guanajuatense, so that they are part of Hannover Fairs and they become professionals in fairs and exhibitions.
• And the fifth axis, is this Congress, where the most relevant actors of the industry in Guanajuato are gathering to be part of a team that will work towards the reactivation of their sector.

For Guanajuato

It will be three days of very important work for the future of this economic activity and, as a result, of the development of Guanajuato.

The Governor said that we should leave behind the effects of the pandemic and recover our trust, reactivate business, coexistence and profesional growth of this activity.
