The Project “Budgetary Transparency 360º, Citizens Budget for Accountability and Empowerment of Citizens and Evaluation of Results of Spending”, the Government of the State of Guanajuato received the prize granted by INAI as 1st Place in State Category.
“The combat to corruption and the transparency of processes has been part of the cornerstone of growth of Guanajuato”, said the Governor of Guanajuato Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo.
The Governor received the prize on behalf of Guanajuatenses and he thanked and recognized the great work that the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data –INAI- has done, promoting this type of contests and recognitions.
“Corruption is one of the great problems and cancers of Mexico and the world. Corruption costs lives, and it takes away competitiveness, besides it does not allow for the development of people and States”, said the Governor.
