The State Government, through the Secretary of Transparency and Accountability, will remain firm in its conviction to professionalize public servants and thus avoid possible acts of corruption.
Arturo Godinez Serrano, head of the department, in his message thanked those attending the congress for their participation and recalled that in 2011 the first forum for the exchange of experiences, knowledge and good practices was held, strengthening the ties of cooperation with the Municipal Comptroller’s Offices. and Internal Control Bodies of our country.
“Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo has told us that as public servants we should work to make public administration more agile and efficient. If we do our work correctly, we strengthen trust in society. And today the people of Guanajuato have an open, clear and transparent government, here the citizens do know what public money is invested in”, said Gozinez.

He reported that with the support of the Alliance of State-Municipal Comptrollers, this XIII Congress was held and 550 attendees from 46 municipalities and 29 states of the country participated.
Viridiana Margarita Marquez Moreno, president of the Alliance, said that with parliaments like this where dialogue exists, the principles of transparency and accountability are promoted.
“The fight against impunity is not for a few, it is for everyone, which is why we must work as a team to generate more solid and reliable states that truly benefit citizens”, said Marquez Moreno.
The authorities present mentioned that Guanajuato has sought throughout the 12 previous editions, to share through these trainings at the national level, its experience in the effective management of public resources and that organizations such as the Word Justice Project Mexico positioned it in second place in the country, in the index of the States with the best rule of law, according to its latest report.
