Guanajuato consolidates its economic diversification process by prospecting sectors towards the production of components for electromobility, hydrogen technology for vehicle propulsion and autonomous driving.
Guanajuato has a high potential for the development of economic activities with a higher technological content towards the Mindfacture and industry 4.0, as stated by the Governor of the State, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo.
The head of the Secretary for Sustainable Economic Development –SDES-, Ramon Alfaro Gomez, assured that the project portfolio is dynamic and is constantly updated to continue attracting investments that open up new opportunities for the development and well-being of Guanajuatenses with increasingly specialized jobs.
The Consumer Electronics Show –CES- was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, where the macro trends in the design, production and marketing of electronic items were presented, as well as advances in the field of electromobility in the automotive-auto parts industry.
The Investment Attraction team with representatives of the Guanajuato Automotive Cluster -CLAUGTO- met with companies like:
- Bosch, Plastic Omnium, Magna, Mubea and American Axle Manufacturing
The goal is to learn about the latest trends in technology, software and energy, as well as their production potential at its plants in Guanajuato.
On the other hand, the delegation had the opportunity to learn about initiatives for the mentoring and financing of Start-Ups by countries such as:
- Germany, Switzerland, France and the Netherlands
CES is the most important exhibition of technological innovation in consumer electronics, in which technologies and prototypes applicable to the industry and everyday products are presented.
