Gerardo Trujillo Flores highlights Mindfacture in Guanajuato. Innovation and social development are key for the future of the State

The event presented key figures like Antonio Reus; Director of IDEA GTO, Dorian Rommens of UNESCO and leaders in innovation

With an attendance of 400 people, including media, businessmen and leaders, it marked a milestone in the State’s Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. The presence of Gerardo Trujillo Flores, Secretary of Social and Human Development, was one of the highlights, with his commitment to social and human development in Guanajuato.

Antonio Reus Montano, General Director of IDEA GTO, played a crucial role in the event, underscoring the importance of synergy and collaboration in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. 

“The magic of what is happening today in Guanajuato is the interaction and synergization of all the actors in the ecosystem,” said Reus, highlighting the Governor’s vision and the role of IDEA in promoting an ecosystem that puts technology at the service of sustainable development and social prosperity.

The event featured the participation of important figures such as Dorian Rommens, UNESCO representative in Mexico, and Carlos Torres Barrientos, General Director of Innovation of Leon, who spoke on behalf of Mayor Alejandra Gutierrez. The importance of Leon as a center of innovation and entrepreneurship was emphasized, and the leadership of Antonio Reus Montano was recognized.

Dorian Rommens, UNESCO representative in Mexico, during his speech at the event in Guanajuato, highlighted the relevance of collaboration of different sectors to promote innovation and sustainable development. 

“At UNESCO, we firmly believe in the power of science, technology and innovation as tools for human and social development. Guanajuato, with initiatives such as Mindfacture, is positioning itself as a leader in this field, demonstrating how technology can and should be to the service of people,” said Rommens.

In his speech at the Guanajuato event, Gerardo Trujillo Flores, Secretary of Social and Human Development, highlighted the importance of innovation and social development in Guanajuato. 

“Today, in Guanajuato, we are witnessing a significant change towards a more integrated and human approach to development. Mindfacture is not only an innovation strategy, but also a powerful tool for social and human development,” said Trujillo Flores.

Xochitl Martinez Cabrera, an expert in human development and pedagogy, highlighted the importance of mentoring in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Andres Morales, UNESCO representative in Mexico, highlighted Guanajuato’s relationship with UNESCO and the importance of science and technology at the service of people. 

Morales noted the role of IDEA and the governor’s leadership in promoting an ecosystem that puts technology at the service of sustainable development and social prosperity.

The event was not only a platform to discuss innovation and entrepreneurship, but also a space to recognize the collaboration and joint work of different actors in the Guanajuato ecosystem. The State is positioned as a reference in innovative thinking and social innovation.
