Even amid the Covid 19 crisis new investments were secured for Guanajuato
The new agreements are within and out of the industrial corridor, generating a more balanced development in Guanajuato

Through the strategy of attraction of investments of the Secretary of Economic Sustainable Development –SDES- in 2020 there were 21 investment projects that were completed for an amount of more than 645 million dollars and more than 7 thousand jobs created or to be created in the short term.
Working goes on
Mauricio Usabiaga Diaz Barriga, Secretary of Economic Sustainable Development, said that in Guanajuato work continues to create the opportunities of development that are the source of a better quality of life for Guanajuatenses as it was the goal since the start of the administration of Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, and so foreign investment is still one of the strategies that is promoted.
Investment goes everywhere
The 21 projects agreed on this year are operating in municipalities like Leon, Silao, Apaseo el Grande, San Miguel de Allende, Celaya, Guanajuato, San Luis de la Paz, Cortazar and Ocampo.
The companies that have trusted in Guanajuato are from countries like Switzerland, Mexico, USA, Germany, Austria, Taiwan, South Korea, Italy, Japan, Spain and Canada, among them are Nestle Purina, Stant, FedEx, Pollman, NKPM.
