Guanajuato is in the 46th edition of the “Mexico Tourist Tianguis”, held this year at the Imperial World Expo in Acapulco, Guerrero, and will prove to be a competitive and ideal destination to make tourists live great stories and attract international events.
The Government of Guanajuato, through the Ministry of Tourism, and municipalities and the tourism sector will show -from May 22 to 25- the varied tourist offer of the State that, through the whole year it has for visitors in cultural, artistic, historical, natural, gastronomic, oenological, MICE, sports, romantic and pleasure activities and places.
The “Tourist Tianguis Mexico”, the most important event in the tourism sector in Mexico, was created 46 years ago to promote and sell Mexican destinations, unique for their history, culture and natural beauty.
In this professional, dynamic and highly productive event, consolidated at an international level, the main exhibitors of the tourism industry and buyers from various countries interact through pre-established appointments of 15 minutes each.
In this edition, Guanajuato will maintain an enriched agenda with leaders of the tourism industry, the media and international tour operators, through business appointments, interviews and productive meetings at the “Guanajuato Lives Great Stories” stand.
Juan Joswe Alvarez Brunel, Secretary of Tourism, is in this great event promoting the “Greatness of Mexico” and inviting the national and international industry to discover the beauty of Guanajuato’s quality destinations, products and services.
In addition, during these 3 days, Alvarez Brunel will sign a collaboration agreement with Conexstur, Despegar Bestday, Aeromexico, Mexitours, Viva Aerobus, Capital Bus CDMX, Price Travel, Expedia, Planet IFE + Volaris.
And in keepingh its tradition, the Secretary of Tourism will offer the Networking Dinner “And you, what are you going to do in Guanajuato?”, aimed at Tour Operators and International Media, aiming to show the gastronomic wealth of Guanajuato, providing food and beverages 100% made in Guanajuato.
