CECyTEG is consolidated as a pillar for the construction of the best education system in Mexico

“In Guanajuato there is a commitment to education”, said Governor of the State, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, as he recognized the achievements of the College of Scientific and Technological Studies of the State of Guanajuato -CECyTEG-, which is consolidated as the best education system in Mexico.
“Mindfacture makes Guanajuato a spearhead in innovation, in creativity, in being different and believe me, this generation will be recognized in the future for what it is doing. The most important thing in Guanajuato is its people, because they are good, hard-working people and that makes us different, so, congratulations,” said Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo to students, teachers and directors of CECyTEG.
Each goal achieved by the CECyTEG benefited the comprehensive training of more than 41 thousand students from the 56 campuses of this institution, by enhancing their knowledge and skills.
Among the most important achievements is the Implementation of the CECyTEG Makers Education Program, dedicated to the manufacture of furniture for laboratories and workshops, with the talent of workshop leaders, teachers, maintenance personnel and students.
“That’s Mexican invetiveness, that’s what Mindfacture is all about: how you are cost-efficient, how you give quality and, above all, how you help education. As a witness are the tables of the plates from the laboratory that they made here. And everything is made at home, that is Mindfacture, generating wealth or added value from knowledge”, explained the Governor.
The project:
- 272 tables
- 1,214 benches
- Investment for 2.3 million pesos
- 44 tables are for laboratories, with high quality for the practice of careers in the Physics-Mathematics and Chemical-Biological areas
- Savings for 30% in production
Governor Diego Sinhue also recognized the education community for participating in the Education Parenting workshops, representing Guanajuato at the Henry Ford Museum, for participating in the CECyTE Makers Workshop, and for being beneficiaries of the International Mobility program.
“Congratulations to all of you, to those who have to represent Guanajuato abroad, to those who are getting certified, to those who are working on alliances, to the winners, to those who are going to represent us, thank you all, because you make the name of Guanajuato and this country to be recognized”, said the Governor.
Working with JuventudEsGTO, more than 80 students have participated in exchange and volunteer programs in the USA, Canada, Germany and France.
With IDEA GTO, the “Portable Educational Experiences Laboratory 4.0” was launched, the only one of its kind in Mexico. This program provides technological tools and resources that allow students to master Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Experimentation of Basic Sciences, Internet of Things and Additive and Subtractive Manufacturing.
With these actions, the Government of Guanajuato reaffirms its commitment to the young Guanajuatenses to strengthen their vision of the future with social, human and economic development for Guanajuato and Mexico, highlighted Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo.
