Four years into the Administration of Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo in the Government of Guanajuato, the State is in the first place in the indexes of Open Government, Regulatory Observance and Civic Justice, as reported by the indexes of the Rule of Law 2021-2022 of The World Justice Project –WJP-.
The WJP is an independent international organization whose objective is to promote the advance of the rule of law in the world.
The indexes reported by WJP present Guanajuato in the first place in Mexico in Open Government with 0.66 points and a difference of 0.18 points above the national average which is at 0.48 points. After Guanajuato are:
- 0.57 Aguascalientes
- 0.55 Mexico City
In Regulatory Observance, Guanajuato is reported with 0.49 points and it holds the first place with 0.12 points above the national average of 0.37 points, next are:
- 0.47 Queretaro
- 0.43 Zacatecas
In Civic Justice, Guanajuato is also in the first place with 0.45 points, 0.6 above the national average in Mexico of 0.39, next are:
- 0.44 Zacatecas
- 0.43 Nuevo Leon
Guanajuato also stands out in Abidance to the Rule of Law with 0.46 points and 0.5 over the national average 0.41, which puts the State in the third place only below:
- 0.47 Yucatan
- 0.49 Queretaro
In Limits to the Power of Government, Guanajuato is also in the third place with 0.48 points, 0.6 above the national average of 0.42, above Guanajuato are:
- 0.51 Nuevo Leon and Queretaro, both with the same numbers
In Absence of Corruption, Guanajuato is also in the third spot with 0.43 points, 0.7 over the national average and it is only under:
- 0.45 Zacatecas
- 0.49 Queretaro
Another factor reported is Criminal Justice, here Guanajuato is in the sixth spot among the 32 States of Mexico with:
- 0.41 points
- 0.5 over the national average of 0.36
The numbers reported by the WJP are the result of the work of the Administration of the State Government of Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, who has insisted with his collaborators in the Government in transparency and in zero tolerance to corruption, enforcing public policies that reinforce the rule of law, helping with that the economic and social development.
The improvement is registered in 4 years of this Government of Guanajuato which in 2018 was in the 12th place in the Indexes of the Rule of Law and today it is reported in the 3rd spot by the World Justice Project.
