The State of Guanajuato is ready to receive more than 1.3 million visitors during the December-January holidays, these visitors will generate an economic benefit of 2,884 million pesos for service providers in Guanajuato.
The Secretary of Tourism of the State of Guanajuato, through the Tourism Observatory -OTEG-, estimates that from Friday, December 15, 2023 to Sunday, January 7, 2024, a vacation period according to the calendar of the Ministry of Public Education, Guanajuato will also receive 273,544 tourists to State hotels, registering an average hotel occupancy of 31%.

- San Miguel de Allende, expects more than 155 thousand visitors, and 53 thousand tourists who will register a hotel occupancy of 44%
- Guanajuato City, will present an occupancy of 32% with the arrival of 48 thousand tourists to the hotel, and more than 131 thousand visitors
